Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
On the 1st of October this year we are each going to be taking part in The Great Scottish Run Half Marathon in order to raise money for the Cardiomyopathy charity.
This is a cause close to all of us and we will be carrying it out in memory of our late friend Brian Curran.
Cardiomyopathy UK is the sole UK charity dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by the heart muscle disease, Cardiomyopathy. Cardiomyopathy is a disease of the heart muscle that causes difficulty for the heart to pump blood to the rest of the body. This in turn can lead to heart failure. The condition affects at least 1 in 500 people in the UK – that’s over 160,000 children and adults. Raising the awareness about cardiomyopathy is invaluable to the charity and it's missions.
Any donation you can give or method you can use to share is massively appreciated and will go a long way in helping to reach our goals of raising the awareness of this disease, funding it's research and supporting the families of those affected by it.

We thank you for your support!
